An ornamental mosaic in the ruins of St George's Garrison Church, Woolwich, lists Royal Artillery recipients of the Victoria Cross across various conflicts from the Crimean War to the Second World War. Three names appear under the New Zealand Wars heading, covering actions in 1863–64.

The church was destroyed by bombing in 1944 and the mosaic now stands exposed on the inner wall of the ruined apse.
